Thongs and Knickers

Thongs are essence of women’s lingerie. Delicate, revealing, inviting and sexy, it takes a brave girl to slip one on, but the results are always set to please. Thongs are characterised by the long thin strip at the back, which runs down some, if not all, of the bum cheeks. This reveals both the bottom and the inside of the thighs like no other underwear. This piece of material is attached by two adjacent flaps, which vary tremendously in style and size. Some are large, verging on the edge of French knickers, whereas others barely cover the parts intended similar to that of t-string or g-string.

Thongs have become so popular indeed that there impact on contemporary culture is second to none when it comes to underwear. As well as having a number 1 hit dedicated to them, ‘the thong song’, they have also prompted the introduction of low-rider jeans which fall lower that their denim equivalents as to reveal the underwear of the person inside them.
